"Puck" isn't just my family nickname; it's the motion graphics gig I kicked off fifteen years ago. After hopping around the globe with gigs at Animade, Giant Ant and Elastic, I'm back freelancing in Ireland, doing what I love - helping people tell their stories with a bit of personality and humour.
While my personal style is vibrant and characterful, fifteen years of experience has helped me become adaptable to whatever brief has come my way. I’ve worked on everything from quirky 2D animations to slick corporate jobs for many of the big hitters.
It’s a great job, and I feel lucky that I rarely get the Sunday Blues, get to solve creative problems every day, work on fascinating projects, and team up with so many lovely and talented people along the way.
So, having just about weathered the storm of 2023’s tech crisis, and in the face of this ominous future alongside A.I., I'm trying to stay optimistic about the potential for positive changes and new creative opportunities on the horizon.
So please get in touch if you have a project you think might be suitable for us to collaborate on. I've also got a network of talented friends and colleagues with diverse skill sets, so if it's graphic design, copywriting, illustration, film making, 2D or 3D animation, I'm sure we can tackle any creative challenge.
Cheers,
Max Halley
